I’m installing a 3 way active sound system in my 15’ Silverado non Bose (8” screen). As I’m sure a lot of you are aware the front door speakers and the dash speakers are ran on the same channel. I’ve searched high and low on the internet and I can not seem to find any information (at least that makes sense to me) about where exactly the front speaker signal wire that comes out from radio splits off and sends to door and to dash. I have found a wiring diagram on gmupfitter that honestly means nothing to me. (I am not familiar with how to read vehicle wiring schematics) and I’ve also narrowed down the connector that it seems like this split takes place but have no idea where it’s located. Looks like the connector for the left side is “x225” and connectors for the right side is “x275”. I’m thinking this is where the split from the radio harness takes place but I could be wrong. As far as the wiring diagram goes I found the schematic for speaker wiring which is great but I don’t know where any of these wires/connections it’s showing are located in the vehicle. I’ll post pics below from gmupfitter that shows what I found. Any help with this would be great since I am attempting to use factory wiring for each speaker but I want the door and dash speaker to be separate for DSP tuning purposes. Thanks!
