I recently blew the other one up, so I replaced it with a reman gear box. I made sure pitman arm was lined and steering wheel and nothing was moved. I also replaced my line from booster to gear box because of bad threads on the old one. Got it all put in hooked back up and got the air out of the system but now I have a issue where it don't wanna turn so easily to the left but perfectly fine to the right. Not sure what has happened I dont recall my steering wheel being moved but could be a possibility. I haven't noticed any leaks but I get a ton of pressure build up in the power steering reservoir after driving. Never had to replace a gear box so not sure if the pressure in it is normal maybe some air in it still? Or maybe I just got a poorly reman gear box I'm not sure I've been trying to find info on it. I don't belive it's the pump it wouldn't make sense as obviously it's still creating good pressure when I turn right I have no issues. Not sure if I have to adjust the gear box, before I put the gear box on I had to slightly move the pitman arm shaft to make the 3 areas line up correctly. Not sure if that's my issue or not? Just looking for a possible solution before I tear it out and replace it again.
