  1. Thank you for replying. I really appreciate your trying to help. Is there a way you could put it into a drop box?
  2. A buddy of mine has a 2020 3500HD Silverado Work Truck, DRW, with 4WD. He's downsized his business so he no longer needs the Reading service body it came with. He replaced it with a take off (Sweptline?) bed and tailgate that came from a conversion company. The Sweptline bed and tailgate came with all of the wiring. I'm guessing that this was originally ordered as a Box Delete (option ZW9) truck and then an upfitter added the service body, prior to delivery. The tailgate that came with the bed has two cameras in it and an electric release for the tailgate latch. (It does not have either version of the motorized tailgate.) After looking into it, the tailgate connector has 10 wires in it. The chassis connector it plugs into, only has 5. I saw a YouTube video where 2 connectors had to be removed to get the tailgate off of a 2020 model. This also leads me to believe that the Bed Delete option changed the chassis wiring and connections. I'm thinking that this may be a 2021 tailgate. (GM may have decided to eliminate the second connector and decided to put all of the connections into a single connector-which makes sense to me.) I'm guessing that the body control module would need to be re-flashed to work with the cameras. I'd like to see if there is some way to get the wiring in place so that the re-flash can be done. Does anyone have access to wiring diagrams for this vehicle? Also would anyone know if there is a way to easily connect the cameras and electric latch? I'd like to use factory style connections/wiring, if possible.
