So I’ve been fighting with my 06 Chevy 1500hd for about a week now. I drove it to the store, came home and parked it, next day it wouldn’t start and hasn’t since. When I turn the key on the the fuel gauge stays on E and when I turn the key over to start the dash goes black and the headlights and everything go black. When I take the key out the parking lamps and radio stay on until I disconnect the battery. Tried to scan it and it says no communication. I’ve checked all the fuses and they check out. Battery is brand new and connection there is good. Checked all grounds. They check out. Also when I turn the key the fuel pump doesn’t come on but if I jump it in the fuse box it will kick on. Also the started will crank if I jump it. What could be my issue?
