    Forget it, answered this one myself. Wired it in and it is indeed strong enough to provide a good signal to both the mirror and nav screen at the same time.

    Has anyone tried this yet then? Being an electronics guy I'm wondering if the video signal is strong enough to feed 2 monitors (mirror and nav) at the same time or does a signal booster have to be installed.
