I currently have a 2016 Silverado 8” screen non Bose pickup. I’m new to all the audio stuff so maybe someone can give me a hand. I have an issue. They don’t sound better than stock, they distort and just sound blah, no good bass. Couple of my buddies said they are underpowered, should I install an amp? If so which kind and can I just put it behind the head unit?
