In April of 2021, I changed my truck's (2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4x4) battery. Everything went smoothly but about a week or so later, my radio just randomly shut off and turned back on. It only did it once so I thought nothing of it. Well, as time progressed, it started becoming more frequent (every other day-ish). It has gotten to the point that it does it now EVERY day (at least) or even as often as every time I start my truck! A few key things to note: it's worse (just about guaranteed to happen) when it's hot outside, if I start my truck and stay parked, it'll play and function until the cows come home, if I start driving, it will still function UNTIL I hit 13 mph. At THAT point it will begin the cycle of turning off, then back on, then back off, then back on and it may do it 3 or 4 times, it may do it a dozen times, or it'll do it my entire ride home from work (Approx. 15-20 minutes). When it does it, it won't even get fully booted, it'll basically flash the "MyLink" logo and shut right back off with a relatively audible click, and then right back up, just to go right back down. I also noticed that my turn signal sounds real strange whenever it's going through one of these sporadic power cycling cycles. However, once the system settles down, my "clicker" sounds perfectly fine. I noticed between October 2021 and April 2022, it NEVER did it because my date was correct for about 6 months, but as soon as we got some pretty warm weather, it started again. Whenever it does it, it resets my date and time. There have been maybe 3 or 4 times in the last year, with hot weather, that it surprisingly DIDN'T do it. I had maybe one hiccup with funky unrelated towing errors, stabilitrack errors or my instrument cluster but that was only after I changed the battery and after I lifted the battery leads to try to remedy this issue about a month after changing the battery. Other than that, the ONLY issue is the repeated annoying resetting of the entire infotainment system. I haven't seen anyone else post this issue or anyone else even having this issue. I'm just curious to see if i'm the only one or if anyone may have any idea of the steps I could take to remedy this.
