Hi the Transmssion went out in my 2007 Tahoe 2wd and I bought a used transmissions (4l69e) from an individual on fb marketplace it was supposed to be a 2005 which I knew at the time a 2005 would definitely work . I don’t know why I didn’t look up the numbers on either I guess just so hopeful that I may get my Tahoe going it just slipped my mind so I took the old Transmssion out and replaced it with the so called 2005 And fought that Transmssion the entire time finally every step of the way ! got it installed 3 days later just to crank up my Tahoe and it wouldn’t engage in any gear at all !first thought was bad transmission !but wanted to investigate further because it seemed the transmission bell housing didn’t want to tighten up completely I looked for the four digit number and I googled and it was a 1999 Chevrolet van 4l60 e so I have yet to take this 1999 back out of my Tahoe .. I was wondering if there was some kind of part I could buy to make the Transmssion work on my hoe ? if there isnt , could I rebuild my old one with parts from this 1999 or a 2002 ? If not I have a 2002 GMC Sierra would that work for my Tahoe or would I be wasting my time
