No, I should try that first evidently, I ASSumed it was not thie issue since it was new. If that proves good, Ill need info on how to check the V drop and grounds. seems like a lot of posts on this type of problem.

Hi Guys, Newbie here. 2017 Silverado 1500 5.3. After replacing the original battery 6 mos ago, suddenly I have been losing radio memory (2 times in 9 days) and also getting a DIC message "roll driver window up and down". Battery connections are clean and tight, battery voltage is good. What is the process for finding a bad ground or voltage drop? I( have a meter but would need instructions) Is there a place to see a list of the ground locations? Thanks in advance for any assistance. . . .Tim
