Sorry if this has been addressed but I couldn't find it. New to the group here. Just updated to a 2025 Silverado 2500HD Trail Boss Z71 LTZ from a 2013 Silverado 1500 LT. I have a few things here. 1st: I am trying to put a rear LED light strip on with sequential turn signals by TruMods but when I plug it in to the 4 pin it doesn't work properly. It will only flash a few times then stop and start when it wants to. I just figured it was that brand that won't work so I bought the same one as on my old truck but that does the same thing. I figured it was the sequential turn signals that won't work so I bought one without the sequential turn. 4 ways work good but when I use the turn signals it works normally the first 2 flashes then it hyper flashes. I also put some led strips on the 4 steps on the bed and bumper hooked up to the 4 pin as turn signals (looks awesome BTW) and my truck thinks a trailer is hooked up. I keep getting a message to check the trailer running lights and my rear park assist is disabled. When I unplug the 4 pin it is fine. Now after that long explanation, has anyone else had this issue? If I were to use wire taps directly to the wire harness would that solve the problem? Wondering if there is a better solution before I do that. 2nd: I also want to put on the led light strips below the doors as well, but want to know if there are wires for the front turn signals from the LCM that I can tap into without running the wires to the front signals. And will it give me the same issues as the rear. Thank you
