** Do this at your own risk!!! Alright, here is most of what you need to know if you are wanting to install AT4/Denali/HighCountry/LTZ (or any seat with a driver seat memory module) leather seats into your mid level trims SLE/LT (and sub trims) Chevy and GMC pickups with power driver and manual passenger. My swap cost me just under $700. I believe I got a good deal on the seats ($575) Parts list: 1: Leather seats from AT4/Denali/HighCountry/LTZ 2: Memory module bypass from the HarnessDR ($167) (****unless you swap the wiring harness and control panel from the cloth seat to the leather seat which is what I did and what I recommend to save $$) 3: The HarnessDR passenger manual to power harness ($75) 4: A 30A GM fuse (I found one at Napa) ($5) 5: A few miscellaneous electrical parts (wire stripper/crimper, electrical tape, suitcase wire splicer) Things to note: Find a set of leather seats (AT4/Denali/HighCountry/LTZ) on places like FB marketplace, Craigslist, etc. Decide if you want to keep/sell the cloth seats. If not, then we will use the wiring harness off of the cloth driver seat. If you do want to try and sell/keep the cloth seats, then you will need to purchase a memory module bypass from the HarnessDR ($167). Front heat seats will work but rear heat seats and front cooling features will not work. ****This install will be based on swapping the wiring harness from the cloth to leather driver seat to bypass the memory module not using the HarnessDR driver memory module bypass harness. **** This is my first time doing this, everything worked correctly for me but warning, you are changing wiring harnesses from cloth to the leather there is a possibility for something to get messed up and to cause electrical issues. Do this at your own risk. How to install: 1: Disconnect the trucks battery. 2:Remove all seats from truck. 3: Starting with the driver seat, carefully remove the wiring harness out of your cloth seat. Remove the harness out of the leather seat and remove the memory module. Then install the cloth seat harness into the leather seat. Make sure to plug in ALL the connectors on the cloth harness to the leather seat in the right place. (Helpful tools: needle nose pliers, small screwdriver, and miscellaneous other tools) ***(Tip: take pictures of the harness on both seats before you remove) ****Process will probably take about an hour depending on skill level. 4: Once you have swapped the wiring harness, then install the driver seat into the vehicle and plug it in. Voila, if everything went well everything should work correctly. 5: Passenger seat is a little easier. follow video instructions from the HarnessDR (link at the bottom of this post) on swapping passenger seat from manual to power. Basically you will run a wire over to the passenger side wire block and splice into the driver lumbar power wire. Then you will run a wire over to the passenger side fuse block for your main power. The wiring harness has pretty much everything you need except for a wire spice and a 30 amp fuse. Once you have done that, install the seat and plug it in and everything should work correctly. 6: The rear seats are the easiest of them all, there is multiple videos online on how to remove them, and you just repeat the steps in reverse order to install the new leather seats. Like I said above, the rear heat seats won't work without highly modifying it so everything just sets into place where the old seats were with no modifications. That's it!! Now factory cloth truck has some fancy new leather seats!
