Good afternoon,. I have a 2015 GMC 2500HD SLE. The truck didn't come with the factory fog lights so I am trying to install them. I ordered the forward object alarm wiring harness (GM part #23261394) which was found to be the harness providing power to the fog lights and object sensors on the front bumper. My ultimate goal is to try and power the fog lights through the factory harness and headlight/fog light switch on the dashboard. The harness arrived and now I need to find out where the harness plugs into the vehicle. I have attached a photo of the harness and was hoping that someone with a GMC2500 with factory fog lights could do me a huge favor. Could someone please take 15 minutes to peek under your truck and follow the fog light wires out and locate where the harness connects to the truck? I would greatly appreciate it. I tried to find an empty spot, but didn't have much luck. Thank you in advance.

2014-2015 GMC Sierra Fog Lights/Bulbs
Sierra Dan posted a topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
I am looking for 2014-2015 1500 or 2500 Sierra owners out there who have pictures of their replaced halogen fog light bulbs with LED or those who have or have tried Philips Crystal vision Ultra or Voltage Automotive blue tinted Halogens for a whiter look. No need for Morimito, Rough Country replacement unit info or pics. I do not want to spend hundreds on fog lights. Just can't seem to find much online showing our 2014-2015 trucks with real world result images. I want to replace the factory PS24W halogens with something brighter/whiter that is simple plug and play but do not want an overly obnoxious scattered LED blue look. There are so many LED choices I do not know what is best with my Fog Light style. Please post pics! -
Due to selling the truck, I need to get rid of some aftermarket parts. For sale is a pair of Morimoto XB LED fog lights. These are complete fog light replacements (housing swap) and are fully plug and play compatible. These are in perfect shape, only used for a few months. List price on these is $200, so I'll let them go for $150 shipped, OBO. The Retrofit Source lists the following vehicle compatibility: Chevy Avalanche: 2007+ (all trim levels) Chevy Silverado: 2007-2016 (all trim levels) Chevy Suburban: 2007+ (all trim levels) Chevy Tahoe: 2007+ (all trim levels) GMC Yukon: 2015-2016 Separate listing created for these. I also have a pair of custom-made projector HID headlights for a 2007.5 - 2013 Silverado. These have high quality Morimoto parts (bulb, projector, wiring, etc.) and look really great. The headlight housing is matte black, and does away with most of the chrome for a more aggressive look. I'll probably post up a separate thread for these, and I'll also include a picture. Unitl then, please PM if interested.

2016/7 Fog Light Condensation
bakerk2 posted a topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Troubleshooting
I've got a 2017 Z71 Silverado with the LED foglights. Today it was warmish (45) and there was a lot of snow melt. I had gotten out to look at the truck on a stop and noticed condensation in the foglight. I drove a bit more and parked. Looked at the lights and both seemed to have it. After coming out an hour later , it had cooled to 37 and noticed that one of the lights was again clear the other just foggy around the edges of the light. I probably splashed the front with cold snow melt which caused the issue. Do these fog lamps have vents like the headlights? Should they clear up or is this a trip to the dealership for a warranty check? Only got 1200 miles. -
For sale are a pair of V-LEDS I purchased for my 2014 GMC Sierra. They were for a fog light upgrade that I never ended up installing. I paid around $65 for these. I'm selling for $40 shipped. I'm in Iowa if someone wants to pickup. These are 5000K bulbs. They fit a 5202 bulb base

I'm looking to do the two led fog light pods in each of my fog light housing. I was wondering which brackets, pods and possibly wiring that I may need. I see the rigid industry brackets on their website but those are recommended for a different style of led pods than what I am interested in. I was just looking for some guidance, if anyone can help that'd be great!

Hi Forum, I have been looking for an aftermarket upgrade for the fog lights on my 2014 Silverado. I already have the bulb size but have had no luck in finding any kind of an upgrade, just OEM replacements from Sylvania and Philips, along with some LED options which I am not sure would emit the same beam pattern due to the halogen housing the stock bulb came in. Any suggestions for an aftermarket fog light replacement bulb?

I installed a set of Morimoto XB LED fog lights a little bit ago and was wondering the best way to aim them. Does anyone have the instructions from the Service Manual? Thanks

Hello all. I write this because I recently had my MyLink system stop working along with the speakers and light display on the steering wheel. This happens randomly one day. I was driving with the music on and the screen froze and the music stopped. When I reached my destination I turned the truck on and off and this time the screen worked no more. At night there is backlight illuminating the screen but the screen itself does not work. The only function it works in is the reverse camera. I was finally able to take it to the dealership and they are telling me the "resistors" (that's what they called them instead of diodes) is what caused the problem and now I am liable for the charges to get it fixed. Has anyone with this mod (low beam to fog lights) had any complications with their truck? Thank you very much for the responses. I own a 2014 Silverado LTZ

Any clue how to remove a fog lamp bulb on a '15 Denali 1500? Seems simple enough, but... Looks like from-the-front would be the logical choice, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the outer lens housing off? Thanks!!!

How do you remove fog light from 2014 1500?

I have a 2014 and want to know if the bumper needs to be removed to change out fog light housing? Thanks for your help in advance. -
Hello all, I have a PIAA 4080 Quattro kit I used on my former 2006 silverado. Worked perfectly for years until removed a few months ago when I sold the truck. Everything from the original kit is for sale. I had to cut one or two of the wires for installation and also for removal. I do not have the original box nor instructions but I assume you could get them from internet or PIAA. They still have road dirt on them as I didn't spend half an hour cleaning them just to sell them. Looking to get $100 shipped or best offer, these are really good lights and need to get used by someone. PM or email me if interested. Will be listing on ebay if nobody interested.
