General Motors has issued a stop sale order affecting a limited number of Chevrolet Blazer EV, Blazer, Equinox & GMC Terrain vehicles for an unknown reason.
Blazer EV / Blazer / Equinox / Terrain Stop Sale Order Details
On December 1st, 2023 General Motors issued a “Stop Delivery” also known as a “Stop Sale” order to dealers for 213 of the following vehicles:
- 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV
- 2024 Chevrolet Blazer (ICE)
- 2024 Chevrolet Equinox
- 2024 GMC Terrain

The Stop Delivery Order states:
“Effective immediately, stop the delivery of those certain 2024 Chevrolet Blazer,
Chevrolet Blazer EV, Chevrolet Equinox, and GMC Terrain vehicles which are in the
attached VIN file and in new vehicle inventory or in transit. Dealers are to wait for
further communication.”

Blazer EV / Blazer / Equinox / Terrain Stop Sale Order Issue
General Motors has not yet released what issue is causing the Stop Sale for these 213 vehicles or what fix is required. Since only 213 vehicles are included in the order, the issue shouldn’t be widespread or common.
