Earlier this week, General Motors gave us a preview of what they’ve got cooking for this year’s Super Bowl Commercial. As expected, it’s all about EVs. What we didn’t expect what Will Ferrell hating on Norway. Now, all is explained.
As we suspected, the reference to Norway is all about the country having the highest per-capital EV ownership of any country. Of course, GM wants to change that.
Promoting their all new Ultium Battery System, GM plans on launching dozens of new electric vehicles over the next decade. And..hopefully take that title away from Norway and bring it back to the good ol US of A.
What do you think about GM’s Will Ferrel commercial?
Rumors peg GM running more than one Super Bowl Commercial, so be on the look out for more previews later this week. Maybe or maybe not including Will Ferrell and Norway. We’ll see.
