After a frustrating year in 2020 with no in-person show, SEMA is preparing for a huge return and will expand for 2021 into the Las Vegas Convention Center’s new West Hall.

SEMA Show organizers have announced that the 2021 SEMA Show will quite a bit bigger than in the past. This November, the show will utilize a brand new space, the west hall, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Anyone who has been to SEMA in the past knows it’s one of the largest trade shows in the world. It’s historically taken up the entire Las Vegas Convention Center inside and a large chunk of the parking space outside too. With a recent expansion of the convention hall, this year’s 2021 SEMA Show might be a little roomier.

“The industry is eager to reconnect,” said Chris Kersting, SEMA president and CEO. “The return to an in-person SEMA Show gives resellers a chance to engage with an amazing gathering of suppliers, new products, stunning vehicle builds and networking opportunities. We are excited to provide our industry with a world-class marketplace that will help them grow and expand their businesses.”

The LVCC’s brand new West Hall was constructed over the past year, while the global pandemic prevented travel to Las Vegas. Those who last visited the SEMA Show (like GM-Trucks.com did) in 2019, only saw the very beginnings of construction. When we all return this fall, the West Hall will be fully complete.

“Demand from the industry to connect in a trade show environment is very strong,” said Tom Gattuso, SEMA vice president of events. “Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention Center are on a great path to hosting live events, and we are steadfast in connecting it all to deliver the best SEMA Show ever.”

With the announcement of the West Hall’s utilization for 2021, it’s still unclear if any of the current halls will be closed for renovation or if the entire LVCC will be utilized. Stay tuned for more news about SEMA as the show approaches and GM-Trucks.com once again attends in person.

The 2021 SEMA Show will run from November 3rd through the 5th.
