Just one month after we broke the news that the Silverado would get the Multi-Flex Tailgate, Chevrolet is confirming the feature as a mid-model-year addition in 2021.

Then, shortly after our first post, we shared the first photos of the Multi-Flex tailgate on a Silverado.
We figured it was only a matter of time until the feature became “official”. Turns out today was that day.
To announce the new tailgate pulled from the GMC Sierra, Chevrolet let out this teaser this morning and the video above:
