You can order a 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in any interior color you want, as long as it starts with Jet Black. Chevrolet’s new configurator lists 12 interior combinations across the seven trims, built from 8 colorways, and every single one of them is Jet Black based. This is your guide to what each trim offers, what the new names mean, and which cabin you should actually pick.

This is the companion piece to our complete 2027 Silverado exterior color guide, pulled from the same source: the interactive configurator Chevrolet just switched on for the next-generation truck. Order books are not open yet, so material details and pricing beyond what the configurator shows will firm up when the order guide lands.

Every 2027 Silverado Interior, Trim by Trim

Trim Choices Interior Colorways
WT 2 Jet Black Cloth, Jet Black Evotex
Custom 1 Jet Black
Custom Trail Boss 1 Jet Black
Silverado 3 Jet Black Cloth, Jet Black Evotex, Jet Black / Oregon Evotex
Trail Boss 2 Jet Black, Jet Black / Gideon
High Country 2 Jet Black / Natural Tan, Jet Black / Enoki
ZR2 1 Jet Black / Dark Galvanized

Notice what is missing. There is no standalone light interior anywhere in the lineup. No gray, no full tan, no off-white. If you want color inside your 2027 Silverado, it arrives as an accent on top of black, and which accent you get depends entirely on which trim you buy.

What the New Interior Names Mean

Enoki, a light mushroom tone, is one of two High Country exclusive colorways for 2027.

Chevrolet retired most of the current truck’s interior vocabulary and started fresh. Here is the decoder:

  • Evotex is GM’s branded leatherette, already familiar from crossovers like the Equinox and Traverse. It now reaches the Silverado, and notably it reaches all the way down to the WT. A Work Truck with branded leatherette instead of bare-bones vinyl is a quiet upgrade fleet drivers will appreciate the first time they hose down a muddy seat.
  • Enoki is the most interesting name in the set: a light mushroom taupe, named after the mushroom, exclusive to the High Country. It is the brightest cabin you can get in a 2027 Silverado.
  • Natural Tan replaces Umber as the High Country’s warm two-tone, paired with Natural Tan edged seatbelts and the trim’s real wood detailing.
  • Oregon is a saddle brown Evotex accent on the Silverado trim, easily the boldest color contrast in the lineup.
  • Gideon is the lone carryover name, returning as the gray two-tone on Trail Boss.
  • Dark Galvanized is the ZR2’s gray accent, replacing the Graystone look of the current off-road trucks.

The One-Interior Trims

Three trims are take-it-or-leave-it inside. Custom and Custom Trail Boss come in Jet Black, period. The ZR2, a truck that can crest $70,000 in current form, also comes one way: Jet Black with Dark Galvanized. Chevrolet is betting ZR2 buyers care more about the 35s than the seat color, and the sales numbers suggest they are right.

The surprise winner for choice is the mid-range Silverado trim, the only one with three interiors: cloth, Evotex, or the two-tone Oregon. Even the High Country only gets two, though its two are the richest in the lineup.

Which Interior Should You Order?

Even the Work Truck gets the new cabin design, in Jet Black Cloth or Jet Black Evotex.

A few decades of forum wisdom on truck cabins, applied to the 2027 lineup:

  • Black hides stains and shows dust. Coffee spills and muddy dog paws disappear into Jet Black. Dust, lint, and dry-skin winters do not. It is the lowest-risk choice, which is clearly how Chevrolet sees it too.
  • Evotex over cloth if the truck works. Leatherette wipes clean; cloth absorbs whatever your job site throws at it. On WT and Silverado trims where both are offered, working trucks should take the Evotex.
  • The light interiors demand commitment. Enoki will show every scuff from boots and car seats, and it will also make the cabin feel twice as big. Buyers who keep their trucks clean love a light interior; everyone else learns a lesson.
  • Two-tones age best. The accent panels sit where wear does not, so Natural Tan, Oregon, and Gideon cabins tend to look newer longer than monotone ones.

What’s Next

The configurator does not label materials on every trim, so questions like where real leather starts on the High Country wait for the official order guide, along with pricing. Exterior colors are already mapped in our complete 2027 Silverado color guide, and the 2027 GMC Sierra’s palette is covered too. We will keep building out the 2027 buyer’s reference as GM releases more.
