GM Borla Tips

How's the sound on those babies? Since my truck is a 2015 (bought just before Christmas Day in 2015) I'm concerned about only using the GM "approved" Borla exhaust. I've heard tale about getting them from the dealer and having them installed elsewhere due to pricing, just curious about your experience with that? Thnx

The sound is better than stock, but not too loud, like a truck should sound. Nice start up and when accelerating, but quiet when at highway speed. I bought it from a GM dealer in Louisiana through Amazon. Full Borla warranty. I normally would install myself, but it was over 100 F outside so I had Midas install it for $100. Took them an hour.
