  1. I already found a local home for this plug.
  2. I had one, but donated it to a local Austin area member...(I keep getting inquiries, hence the reason for the post). Thanks.
  3. I just clicked on it and it worked for me...it is basically the GM Customer Service profile and to the right there is a box that says "Send me a message" which opens a window to PM the GM Customer Service person. You have to be logged in to send a message to them. http://www.gm-trucks...stomer-service/ Another way to get to them is by going to the top of the page and click on Members and then search GM Customer and you should see the profile for GM Customer Service. You can click on it and send them a message.
  4. I bought them from another member for $200 in the For Sale section already painted. They were take offs where someone had them taken off at a dealer and installed the chrome handles / mirror caps. I simply removed the chrome and replaced with color matched. There are also some on Ebay for sale already painted.
  5. Cleaning out my garage after trading in my 2014 Silverado...found one of these plugs (no LEDs) from the GM Bed LED kit for a 2014 - 2015...if anyone interested PM me and we'll work something out to cover the cost of shipping...

  7. 2nd from bottom (1 up from stock). I didn't care about "leveling". Just wanted a better ride.
  8. I replaced the black stock shocks with Bilsteins. I like to say the ride is more controlled now. Less shaking and bouncing with the Bilsteins. My wife used to say she felt like a bobble head when riding with the stockers, but not now.
  9. Latest picture after color matched handles and mirror covers, side de-badging and High Country grille install..
  10. OP, since you say it isn't a Chevy dealer, what "dealer" did you take it to that gives you "3 free ones"? GM dealer should repair/replace those hoses if under warranty. I believe one of those might be the transmission cooler line which had a recall some time ago to make sure it wasn't leaking...
  11. I was concerned about this too since it gets over 100 here in the summer. My OEM bed lights are attached with screws to tabs that are angled between the side panels and top rails on either side. When I added lights, I found a similar area that I was able to use by drilling pilot holes and sheet metal screws. The wires are hidden and covered with plastic flex tubing.
  12. definitely a "mean" look if that's what you are going for. I'd take it back to the normal bolts...it seems a bit too much for me...but that's me...
  13. I'd like to clarify a couple of things for you guys regarding the GM Borla exhaust system. Yes, I have one. First, Borla does not sell this system directly. The GM Borla (Performance) exhaust system is sold through GM dealers and their web sites. For example, I purchased mine from Banner Automotive through their Amazon store. In August 2015, my purchase price was $1,020 plus $144.95 for the chrome tips kit. The tips are extra (not included in the kit) and come in chrome or black. According to several GM Accessories sites, the normal GM tips do not fit this GM Borla exhaust system. It is a very high quality, easy to install cat back system. One of the differences from other Borla exhaust systems or other manufacturers is that it includes a Passive Exhaust Valve (PEV, aka "flapper") that appears to be of higher quality than stock and is mounted on a bypass to the main exhaust pipe (think of having a loop attached to the main pipe with the valve inside) which eliminates the restriction, but helps with AFM/DOD noise. The sound is compared to a "Touring" sound, so if you were to go to Borla's web site and listen to the "Touring", it would be close as compared to "Sport" or "ATAK". Another note...even the Corsa exhaust systems for these trucks is more expensive now than they were a few years ago. I too was surprised. I am not intending to start another "exhaust system bash" thread, but just wanted to share my experience with purchasing my GM Borla exhaust system. I wanted a complete system and all that entails. I normally install exhaust upgrades myself, but had Midas do this one since it was over 100 degrees here, in Texas, when I bought it.
  14. Reminds me of my 2001 Silverado RC 4.3L 2WD...these trucks are so much bigger!
  15. Both look good DB! I've been thinking about the valence too. Hmmm. What'd you use to trim it?
