  1. Looking to buy this lift kit from a guy who bought it new, and never used it - still in boxes. I will be putting it on 2004 Suburban Z71. The kit includes coil springs, but when I look online, this part number is also available for use with Rancho 2.5 inch leaf springs. It reads Rancho springs are designed to maintain a soft factory ride Leaf springs are designed to control torque roll while providing equal traction through limited axle wind-up My Suburban has coil springs in rear. Just wondering if I am supposed to change to leaf springs for a better ride, or if the leaf springs lift is for suv's that came with factory leaf springs? Thanks
  2. When I bought my 2006 GMC Sierra a couple of months ago, owner said he had changed ignition switch. The key is different from door key. When key is removed and door is open, the bell dings as if key was still in ignition. When I press the door lock button, sometimes the driver door will unlock itself, as if the key is still in the ignition switch. Any ideas what my problem may be? Thanks.
  3. Can I swap the TCCM from my 2004 Suburban to my 2006 Sierra and see if that is my problem? Part numbers are the same, just wondering if programming or something else is different. No lights on 4wd switch and no 4WD. Have swapped switch already, and that didn't help. Thanks.

  5. How do I tell if my scanner reads TCCM codes? I just bought an Equus / Innova 3130 / 1303 CAN OBD 2 Pro Global Scan Tool Thanks
  6. OK, switched out the dash switch with my 04 suburban, it worked in the suburban. Yes, it reads Service 4WD on dash. I'll get it scanned. Thanks.
  7. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes yellow lights are on, sometimes not, though it seems they all light up when I crank the truck?
  8. As Servantsalesman asked, How will it affect ride quality and suspension travel? Thanks.
  9. I have a 2006 Sierra that I need to level. Have been looking online at leveling kits, but guys at work say I am wasting my money, to just turn up torsion bars. What are the advantages and disadvantages of doing this. I know one advantage is the price. Thanks
  10. Thanks, that's just what I needed. What is passlock? Rock Auto had two different ones, one reads without passlock? http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1432417,parttype,13257
  11. yes, the passenger door is working properly. I looked on Rock Auto, but couldn't find it. Maybe I don't know what the actual name of it is.
