    Thanks man. Agree completely the small sidewall was always disappointing but loved the larger rims on the new style truck. The picture doesn't even do them justice in person they look awesome with the meatier sidewall. Certainly fill up the wheel wells

    I have finally bit the bullet and got the 285/55/22 Nitto G2's. First of all they look amazing on the factory 22's. They ride nice and are really very quite (slighlty louder than stock but only barely) I have run lots of mud tires though so these seem super quite lol. Now regarding fit These really do fit pretty well considering the size of the tire. The biggest issue I have is with GM molded mudflaps I have on my truck I have had to trim them down on the inside corner. The felt liner is no issue at all and I pinned back with a zip tie to the closest body mount and you cant even tell. I am still having rubbing on parts of the mudflap in reverse and will probably trim more to eliminate the issue.

    Guys who are running the terra g2's how do you like them? I am planning on ordering the 285/55/22 as previously mentioned so I started looking into reviews to make sure they were the tire I wanted especially when dropping that much $. Unfortunately I seemed to find mixed reviews mainly due to balancing and wet traction issues. They seemed to be from a lot of 3/4 ton 2500 truck guys though and varying ply ratings. How does everyone like them in the 22 any issues? Thanks

    Also I messed up on one of my first posts I actually have the rough country 2.5" kit not a 2.25" so it would be the same.

    Damn that looks good. Hard to beat the look of a mud tire. I saw a couple teaser pictures for nittos new ridge grappler and am really interested if it will come in 285/55/22 as this thread has pretty much made up my mind for the size I want to run.

    Trey did you get these installed at the dealer? did they give you a hard time or warning regarding warranty and running that big of a tire?

    Wow the trucks look amazing guys. Definitely the look I'm after with mine. How has everything else been with the tires? Any big power loss with the increased height? I've run lots of 33's on trucks but if I go with the 285/55/22 it will be the biggest tire I've ever run especially with the 3.42 rear end.

    So just rubbing on the felt inner liner? Have you tried pinning it back or just doesn't rub often enough to matter? Any side view pics bet it looks bad ass!

    Do you have any pics? I have a 15 rally 2 edition with rough country 2.25 level/lift and want to run the same tire setup on the stock 22's. Wanted to get the biggest sidewall I could for the 22's
