  1. LED Headlights look good, however they are not a solution, they do not project enough light on High Beam and you still have problems with side to side lighting. GM needs to step up with a good solution Vosla is not a solution!
  2. Rest assured I have complained both to GM and Transport Canada, no response from the government to date! Vosla bulbs were a waste of time. I have installed a 36"LED light bar behind the grill that works just fine, but it was not inexpensive. I want GM to step up to the plate and do the right thing for their customers! UPDATE: Dear Sir, We wish to advise that Transport Canada is currently evaluating the situation. Sincerely, Defects and Recalls | Défauts et Rappels Transport Canada | Transports Canada Motor Vehicle Safety | Sécurité des véhicules automobiles 80 rue Noël street, Gatineau, Québec, J8Z 0A1 Government of Canada | Gouvernement du Canada 1-800-333-0510
  3. NHTSA will NOT record or accept complaints from outside the US Complaints from other countries must be filed with the appropriate agency from the country of residence. It has been said that for every one complaint approximately 100 individuals do not complain. GM has a problem which they feel they have resolved to their satisfaction, and have ignored those of us who feel betrayed. My comment to GM was this will be the last GM produce I will purchase, their response was "we are sorry you are not satisfied with out product and regret that you will not be a future customer" in other words , we don't give a rats ass, we have your money that's all we are interested in!
  4. First I would log a complaint with GM and then with Government department in your country that is responsible for vehicle safety. Your choice of upgrades, basically almost anything helps I installed a 36"LED Light Bar behind the grill (not inexpensive) but does a great job, waiting for LED fog lights, First ones some twit stole off my doorstep after the post office delivered and left on my doorstep. Still waiting for Putco to replace the order. And I tried LED bulbs for the headlights, looked nice, but not much better for light. Good luck!
  5. IF Judge Q Hayes has any brains, he will request to drive the vehicle in question then if necessary direct the FED's change their requirements, Fat chance of that happening, GM may meet Federal guidelines, however it is their responsibility to insure their vehicle is safe in all ways. If the 2016 has improved design, the question is why?
  6. I had the same conversion done, same crappy lighting GM really needs to do something! Lighting is disgusting and unsafe!
  7. That would be fantastic, however GM is not interested in satisfied customers, much like most North American manufacturers, they only want your money for new vehicles besides the government agencies responsible for this have approved the current lights we have as having met their standards. So basically grin and bear it, we can only hope that those who have initiated a law suit are successful and force GM to reconsider the error of their ways!
  8. IMHO, the replacement bulbs from GM did nothing, I have tried LED Replacement bulbs, looked great, but as for performance at night a waste of time installing them. Best thing I have come up with so far is a LED light bar mounted behind the grill, not inexpensive, but works great.
  9. The headlights I can agree with, but as for dash lights, there is a dimmer switch that allows you to adjust the brightness and mirrors I have never ran into a problem with if adjusted properly, unless some twit rides my ass with his accessory driving light on.
  10. It is unfortunate that GM will not get off their high-horse and do something for the owners of their GMC on this subject especially when we fork out $45K or more for a vehicle that is supposed to be safe in all road conditions night and day. As I said before I have tried everything in the way of after market bulbs, except HID kits which according to my dealer do not function well. I have the GM update and IMHO wasn't worth the dealers time it took to install it. LED light bar mounted behind the grill was worth the money spent, but GM needs to address the problem.
  11. Same problem the GM dealer has encountered with installing HID kits here, now they refuse to waste their time. They had manufacturers reps from the various kits try to resolve the problem, but so far no success. I tried led lights, without success now I have a led light bar behind my grill and that works great, but I have to get the dealer to connect it to the dimmer switch.
  12. Knowing GM, probably a total different assembly, not compatible with our vehicles made earlier. I did ask my dealer and he is checking, But I will lay odds that if by a slim chance they do fit GM will want a small fortune to upgrade them for us.
  13. Can't explain that. I have absolutely no lighting to the side and high beams are too adjusted too high. IMHO GM engineers need to go back to school! Why would you design a system with little or no adjustment. They need to stop worrying about looks and get something that is practical and works. When I spoke with GM I suggested they send someone out to take a road trip with me at night to find out what real world night driving involves. Hopefully we encounter the odd moose, deer or bear!
  14. I notice you are operating a 2014 Sierra, Are they similar to the 2015?
