I am noticing a nice increase in mpg using tow/haul. I starting doing this on Friday and noticed that the truck was running higher mpg numbers in the DIC when monitoring the Average MPG screen. I gassed up today and did some running around. My driving was a mix of stop and go around town and some 50 mph straight stretches. Trip A (14 miles so far) is reading 21.6 mpg! I noticed that the truck WILL stay in V4 mode much longer in tow/haul mode with gentle application of throttle. Still, it is possible to actually keep in V4 and increase my speed in tow/haul. With the truck in Drive, I was lucky to keep V4 when going downhill. I can't wait to see what mpg I get between now and my next gas up.
