  1. Any evidence of someone try siphoning gas out of your tank and jam a hose in the goose neck/ filler hose? Also I know my 2018 came with no gas cap and when It snows the snow was getting in behind the fuel filler door and sometimes filling the gas filler opening but never enough to allow ice build up inside the goose neck but allows water in the tank. I put a 2 inch plumbing cap on as a gas cap. Just a guess If you can remove the filler tube from the tank and make sure it's not blocked
  2. Not sure if it's the same problem but I have something inside my muffler that when I tap on the muffler with my hand hard enough something inside rattles. Sounds like a possible baffle broke or bolt. I'm just living with it
  3. The black tab is a broken piece off the of the plug or socket and holds the plug in place The Grey just locks the black tab in place by sliding in the plug release tab (which is part of that black tab) Mainly they work together to keep the plug and socket from coming loose
  4. I'm sure theres not 100 miles on them
  5. Thanks for the replies Bolt pattern and hub are all good, I tried one on the back I will try one on the front to make sure it's not rubbing. My spare is 265/70R17. Like I mentioned the only difference is, i think, the 08 to 13 had 7.5 inch width then they switched to 8 inch width from 14 up, As said I think Not sure what year Sierra they came off I'm like a racoon I like shiny things including wheels, the alloys are not hard to clean with ceramic wax coating on them.
  6. Anybody out there
  7. I have acquired a new set of 17 inch gm steel wheels and good year tires for free. They're 17 x 7.5 inch wheels and 265/70R17 tires. From what I've read on the web these will not fit my truck and the only difference I can find is they're17x 7.5 inch and my 2018 gmc sierra SLE uses 17x8 inch. I would like to use these for the salted winter roads and save my alloys. Will these work
  8. I searched and found nothing in regards I have the dreaded service trailer brake on the DIC every time I start my truck and dismiss it and never comes back on until the next time I start it. Integrated trailer brake Its a 2018 GMC sierra SLE crew cab 5.3L It worked before This happens without a trailer connected And I dont have a 7 pin trailer to test with. I checked for power at the 7 pin trailer plug and have no power to the brake but have the power to all other pins for stop lights, signals, tail lights, 12V constant, and reverse. All check 12v When I check the fuses under the hood for the trailer they are all good . When I check for power at the 30 amp trailer brake fuse holder socket tabs under the hood fuse box it has no power. Is this supposed to have power?? And were does it get its power from. I installed a new trailer brake switch on the dash but same thing. If someone has run up on this problem feel free to chime in. Also if you could check if that 30 amp trailer brake fuse under the hood fuse box has power to the terminal pins that may help me head in the right direction for this issue. Thanks
