  1. Oil was in the ground for 65 million years. I doubt sitting in your engine block for a year is gonna degrade it that much that quickly.
  2. Do you do your first oil change much earlier than the OLM indicates. I have typically done around a 1000 miles on my other trucks. Is it a good idea on newer engines?
  3. Looks good! I see the tow hitch. Putting her to work already! Nice. Have not towed with mine yet. Wanting to get a camper to pull behind mine.
  4. Yeah, useless to me too. I have an open carport, so no garage door to worry about.
  5. Here we go. Found a link on the GM Canada Site that describes the package. 6. Nice. I like the look of the Badge. It is different than what we have. So when you come to the states, it will get attention from other truck guys. Just like it did from Grumpy and I.
  7. Another difference on his truck. The headlights are different than ours. Looks like there is another bulb inside between the headlight lens and the grill. Wonder if that is another Canadian difference due to their DOT requirements compared to U.S. Requirements?
  8. I Googled it. Looks like Kodiak Sierra is a package offered in Canada. Makes sense since his profile says he is in Winnipeg.
  9. Yeah, I am posting on my iPad. So little easier to see. Old eyes need the bigger screen!
  10. Yes Sir. Premium with Z71 and Trailering Package. Looks like our major difference are the wheels.
  11. What is the Kodiak badge on your truck swiens?
  12. Both Look Good. Someone contacted me and asked if I wanted to buy color matched mirror and door handle covers. But I like the chrome. The paint is so dark, I think the chrome makes it pop. And yes, we do seem to be the minority here. Heck, my dealership had dozens of Black, White, and Greys. This was the only Mahogeny Metallic at any dealership here in Atlanta.
  13. I have seen some threads for other colors trucks to post pics of their rides. The Black Thread is very popular with over 50 pages. Mahogany Metalic seems to be a very uncommon color for our trucks. I do not think I have seen another one here in Atlanta. Well, not in the 3 weeks since I bought mine. The pics do not do this color of any justice. They do not show the red tint well. Makes it look more plain chocolate brown. That being said, here are some pics of my Mahogany Metalic Sierra.
