Update to original post: I took the truck to Mike Bell Chevrolet in Carrollton, GA on 11/11/16. The screen worked fine on the way there, but while at the shop, it started acting up. They discussed it with another group at GM and decided to replace the radio control assembly, which included a new screen on 11/16/16. I do believe this will correct the problem, although I haven't driven it for the hour it normally takes for it to fault. Good service department at Mike Bell.
Original Post: I'm having a problem with the screen on a 2016 Silverado HD 2500. The image on the screen begins to degrade. Lines start showing, the image jumps around. As it gets worse, it begins to fade out. Within about 15 minutes of this starting, the screen is blank. The radio still works, I can press the screen where the buttons are supposed to be and the station changes. I took it to the dealer and they said they need to see it when it fails. I took it back when it went out and the diagnostics showed no output to the screen. I find that after it sits overnight, it is fine the next day, but only for about 45 minutes and then it starts the failure routine. I need to use the truck next week, but set up an appointment for Friday morning.
