Thanks! Yes it's an original battery, didn't even think about it being an issue with it just being the one light only but I'll have it checked out regardless.

Just noticed it this morning on my drive into work. The air flow direction for the feet (don't know what else to call it) is blinking intermittently. Is this something I can replace myself or is this a trip to the dealership? I did a search online but all I can get is why the A/C light blinks and nothing about the backlight going out. 2017 GMC Sierra Took a video of it also:
