Here we are one month later. No confirmation on the order placed on December 15 has even been allocated yet. Calls to the dealer get the runaround and excuses. Fed up. Any direct contact number for GM customer service? Everything I see runs me back to the dealer.

I placed a factory order for a 2024 Silverado LT 3500HD and z71 Sport package back on December 15. Dealer is a high volume and they stated at time of order they get regular allocations. 6 weeks later and no allocation received and factory has not accepted the order. Getting frustrated beyond belief. About ready to pull the plug and move on to another brand. Not having much confidence in my dealer. Is 6 weeks out of line to wait for an allocation and order acceptance?

Went into a local high volume dealer dealership today. I had to sit at his computer and load my build package. He was clueless. He went back to his manager and he came back and offered MSRP. I told him no go on MSRP. I got him down to $2k off MSRP without disclosing my Costco $1k discount certificate. So, $3k off MSRP doesn’t seem too unreasonable. What is everyone paying now in relation to MSRP on factory orders? Does Costco Auto program give preferential pricing in addition to the $1000 rebate?

Any word when the build and price for the 2024 will be up? I’m excited to see the 6.6 gas engine with the 10 speed Allison and the new big touchscreen on the LT trim.

Are dealers still taking orders? I have a pretty unique truck order specification that isn’t found on any searches of inventory. I sent off some requests to dealers here in the Portland area and none are willing to order or are blowing smoke you know where to get me in the door.
