No signs of deterioration as of yet. Anchor the legs to it, then use ratchet straps instead of the nylon rope they come with to hold it tight to the ground. Ours are full of garden tractors. As long as the roof cover is tight, most moderate snow slides right off. If not you can just go inside and push up with a broom or something. They have taken a few wind storms and come out still standing.

Wow. I had less than $600 in changing the entire radio to something with far more functionality than the factory unit.

I had reservations about my upgrade till i completed it. I thought of going the easy route and get a LC6 converter and hooking up an amp and changing out all the speakers. But after pricing it all out the few hundred dollars difference to change out the factory radio was the better option. I used the Idatalink Maestro kit. I still have Factory camera. Stearing controles. Vehicle info. Onstar. Sirius. Climate controle on screen. All work. Bonus you get full digital guage cluster on the radio radio now. And android audio brings all google assistant functions through the phone to the truck. Negative. In console usb dont connect to radio anymore. And you cant change the theme of the cluster LCD. I have full voice control of Google assistant. I can make phone calls, text, reply to text, open waze, enter navigation, open spotify, amazon music, pandora and Sirius, Just by hitting the steering wheel button and asking. The resolution of the back up camera is better than the factory screen which was something i was curious about. I can add Kenwoods Dash cam which plugs directly into the radio, I have the option of adding a second rearview camera, A front camera, and radar detector. It has a full crossover built in for amp control, And i didnt have to cut a single factory wire in the truck. The Kenwood really cleaned up the factory speakers. Im completely ok with leaving them in for now untill after i add subs.

I found the website to order the factory plug. But if pgamboa is making them Im sure there cheaper than ordering from the site as you have to buy in bulk. pgamboa. how much for one pigtail for a 15 and the diods? . I was going to do this mod myself until i checked and realized i had bed lights already. But my dad has a 15 and think it would be a nice upgrade for him.

I would love to see the difference in quality of someone who swapped the factory radio for an aftermarket and retained the original backup cam. Or added the optional 3rd brake lite camera.
