truck has 185,000 km (114,885 miles) already spent $4700 on lifters. was thinking to drive this motor as long as possible with deactivation module in, then replacing engine, and doing afm delete on that one before installing. Or how much life could I expect if I did the afm delete now on this motor? planning to keep the truck for a while

I have already done the lifters, then two weeks later a lifter failed again on each side. in same two cylinders as before. Thinking there may be something up with the bore the lifters are in, or just multiple crappy lifters. currently have a deactivation module in, but I have heard those can cause problems as well.

I'm more just looking for options without the lifters etc on 5.3 or 6.2.

Does anyone know if this is a possible swap? if so what would be required? Thanks
