  1. Help with 4X4

    Hey guys, on a side note has anyone had issues shifing into 4HI with a manual transfer case? It's a 50/50 shot on whether or not it will give me a hard time on my '18 WT. Any tips would be appreciated.
  2. Used your idea for the cross referance, and looked into the 50000 series and 40000 series. Long story short, my tonneau isn't compatible with the rack. So I'll just have to run one or the other if I so choose to. Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated.
  3. Thanks for the info guys. I'll try both of those. The cover sits on top of the bed rail. My buddy has a tri-fold with the adapters, but it didn't seem like it would work with mine considering the adapters would end up impeding the cover from rolling up all the way to the end. I understand that with the adapter, the rack itself will be shorter. I'm potentially getting it free from work, so spending another $300-400 on a rack on top of possibly $250 for adapters isn't appealing to me. I have the ability to take the "horns" if you will, off the top so that it doesn't stick way above the roof line.

  6. Not keeping this truck forever, so looking at some simple, quick performance perks to make to my silverado. I have the 4.3 as it was all I could afford at the moment, and just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I was thinking of just a CAI, i dont know if i want to go to the extent of a programmer. Not a fan of doing an exhaust on a v6 that much either. Has anyone put one on and noticed any more of an increase in any respect? I've heard theres a lag in throttle response on the newer trucks at stock, but I havent read into it enough to see whether or not its bogus. Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

    Honestly, if it weren't for how atrocious tundras were on fuel, I would have shopped one of those. For now, my bowtie will do. It functions as it should. I just wish gm would have out the 3.6 twin turbo I to a truck to compete with the 3.5 in the Ford. That caddy motor is a beast. Sent from my SM-G950W using Tapatalk

    Please tell me you will overlook the aesthetics for the current model versus switching to a rattle trap. Everyone I know that has owned a recent ram, has had nothing but problems with them.     I have the floor shifter. My only regret is that I have the 4.3. But honestly I can complain considering I had a 2015 accord sport before that. We needed something with 4x4 and a box. Any distance travel that doesn't require towing or hauling, we can do in our crv as a family. It will do what i need it to do for now.
