  1. I don't know what the build date is on my truck but I've had it since OCT so I'm pretty sure it was built before that date.
  2. My Trail Boss is an LT.
  3. The dealer told me that they had to put a new rear window assembly in because the old one had tiny cracks. Others have said that was the case with them as well. I know that the dealership first tried to reseal my window and that didn't work.
  4. Mine was built in the US. I don't think the build location matters, I believe the windows themselves were bad. From what I've heard GM has changed the supplier.
  5. I don't have parking sensors.
  6. I can't answer that first question but I have heard that GM got a new supplier due to these problems so it should not effect current production trucks.
  7. You need to take your truck back to the dealership and make them fix it! Document all of those things and go straight to the service manager and show him. They need to replace that window, period. The windows that are leaking a defective, they can't be repaired. Once it's back in the service department I would be sure to call Chevy and let them know.
  8. It sucks that this is happening to so many people. On the bright side, it does look like GM is taking care of it and has taken steps to fix the issue. Since my back window was replaced I haven't had any issues. I contacted GM about all the trouble and they gave me a certificate for accessories, paid for my nudge bar.
  9. Hmm, I'm guessing that the window in the Sierra is different then.
  10. Update, I got my truck back on Friday and the leak appears to be fixed.
  11. Hell, they've got me in a pretty basic Colorado.
  12. My truck is on it's second trip to the dealership for the leaking window. The first time it was there for seven days, they said the problem was a bad window seal. The truck leaked again a couple days later when we hit some rain. I dropped it off again and they've had it for six days now. They are saying the window frame had micro cracks in it, their words. They haven't given me a timeline on repair this time. I like the truck but I'm seriously considering making them buy it back under the lemon law. By NC law once they've had it for a total of 20 days for the same problem the vehicle falls under the lemon law. Seeing other people having the same issue is giving me some serious reservations about keeping this truck.
  13. This is the exact same thing I'm being told except that my dealership isn't telling me that it will be two weeks, they're saying it will be in at any time.
  14. I picked the truck up from the dealership on Wednesday, they said the repair had been completed. We ran into a rainstorm last night and apparently they didn't fix the issue. Back to the dealership it goes.
  15. Absolutely a sliding window has the potential to leak. I agree that a fixed window should not leak but it does happen. Now if this becomes a common thing then Chevy really has an issue that needs to be addressed.
  16. It wasn't leaking at the rail for the window, that was the first place I looked. I appears to be coming in from the top of the window and was leaking while it was raining. Again, not a huge amount of water but enough that it needs to be fixed. The dealership said it looks like the seal was not installed correctly.
  17. I probably should have given more details but the interior didn't get soaked, it was just dripping in and I don't think it even got the carpet wet. There was water on the top of the back seat and I just wiped it off. Of course this should still not happen and needs to be fixed but there was no damage done to the interior.
  18. Just a heads up to all the other 2019 owners out there. Last night I noticed water on the top on the back seat on the passenger side and my rear window is leaking. It looks to be coming from the area around the sliding window rail. I spoke with the dealership last night and will be dropping it off today for them to fix. I'm not really pissed off about it because this is the kind of stuff that happens when you buy the first model year of a new design but I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on something to look out for.
