  1. I have a 2014 Silverado 5.3 with 105K miles. Today while driving slowly the stabilitrak and check engine dash lights lit up and the PRNDM light that shows what gear you are in turned off! weird, I noticed after pulling over it felt like the tranny was slipping in gear while trying to accelerate from a stop. I carry a code reader with me and when I plugged it in to the OBD2 it showed only Code 1 and @. No specific code numbers. I erase the non codes and the dash lights went and the tranny quit slipping....Whats up???
  2. FIXED! Hey I wanted to provide an update to this topic for those who may have this problem. Turns out the door wiring harness was bad. I took it to the dealer finally and they diagnosed and repaired with a new door wiring harness. All memory seat functions and backlight work correctly now! Thanks.
  3. I don't think the battery is becoming discharged as the lowest voltage I have seen is 12.6.
  4. Thanks, my older vehicles never did that.
  5. I have a 2014 1500 LTZ Z71. Brand new Battery installed AGM style 850CCA. My charging voltage swings wildy. When I start up I get the alternator to battery charging voltage of 14.3 to 15.2 Volts. As the truck warms it will begin to fluctuate, I can watch the volt meter drop to 12.7 Volts (battery voltage) it isnt dependant on Loads, headlights. accessories etc. also not dependant on engine RPMs. It will drop to 12.7V then if I turn the truck off and restart it will start out at 14.7 V then after 3-4 minutes begin to drop...then after awhile it may return to 14+/ Really weird. The comman thread is by re-starting the truck it always starts at 14.4+ then after waiting it begins to drop. any ideas? The truck has 60K miles and the original alternator I believe.
  6. Yes I tried both keys and the battery...nothing
  7. I wonder if there is a bcm just for the memory controls? Or if there memory function is controlled by the main body control module?
  8. I tried disconnecting the battery for up to 30 minutes. It didn't work
  9. Heat function is good. Where can I find that fuse? Door jam or underhood fuse center?
  10. Yes I do.if I knew which wire was supposed to be powered at rest I could back probe the switch or just unplug the switch and check for power signal at the harness plug. Anyone have a wiring schematic?
  11. yes ALL other door switches work great and are backlit. Today when I had the door panel off to install the new switch I looked at everything as far as the wiring etc and it all looked good. This has really got me scratching my head.
  12. NO beeps, No light. I have tried with the settings on or off in Mylink......Nothing. Just FYI mylink settings are just for "auto memory recall" on or off and Easy exit " auto " settings. even with those disabled in Mylink you should still be able to set and recall seat positions manually with the memory switch. This is curious, should either one or both of my keyfobs be programmed driver "one' or driver "two" for the memory seats to work???? I ask because when I start my truck it doesn't say driver 1 or 2 with either of my 2 keyfobs. Maybe someone can answer that for me. Do you get a driver one or two message on the DIC when you use your keyfobs???
  13. Hi, does anyone know if there is a fuse for the door switch that controls the memory seats in my 2014 Silverado LTZ Z71? I have NO functions and the backlight doesn't work on the switch. This is a brand new switch, I just replaced it as I was thinkinking the switch was bad but now??????? Where and what # fuse is it? The power seat functions fine....Just no memory functions and the switch does not light up so maybe fuse related??? Thanks!
