  1. Can any 2014 Silverado 1500 owners chime in if their Truck shows Driver1 or 2
  2. My keys work, and are recognized fine. I just don't have driver one or two showing up.
  3. I have a 2014 LTZ that doesn't say Driver 1 or Driver 2 anywhere on the DIC (digital info center) or anywhere for that matter when I start my truck or use my Keyfobs to unlock my Truck. Can someone please confirm that their Truck shows a Driver designation (1 or 2 or?) when they unlock and start their truck? I am thinking that maybe I need a dealer to program the driver designations with their scan tool? Also I think this my be why my memory seat function does NOT work as there is NO Driver programmed to remember the positions for. Any advice? Thanks!
  4. I replaced the switch with a new one. Wiring looks good. Did NOT resolve my issue. Still NO switch back light, NO functions, NO beeps. Has anyone else dealt with this issue? The switch is obviously not receiving power and/or signals from whatever controls it....
  5. I don't think the battery is becoming discharged as the lowest voltage I have seen is 12.6.
  6. what is the part # for the right side pivot bushing discussed in this thread??? I can't seem to locate it online. Thanks!
  7. Thanks, my older vehicles never did that.
  8. I have a 2014 1500 LTZ Z71. Brand new Battery installed AGM style 850CCA. My charging voltage swings wildy. When I start up I get the alternator to battery charging voltage of 14.3 to 15.2 Volts. As the truck warms it will begin to fluctuate, I can watch the volt meter drop to 12.7 Volts (battery voltage) it isnt dependant on Loads, headlights. accessories etc. also not dependant on engine RPMs. It will drop to 12.7V then if I turn the truck off and restart it will start out at 14.7 V then after 3-4 minutes begin to drop...then after awhile it may return to 14+/ Really weird. The comman thread is by re-starting the truck it always starts at 14.4+ then after waiting it begins to drop. any ideas? The truck has 60K miles and the original alternator I believe.

  10. This was right CIRE 0309! So when I got my HID kit from TRS they told me that if the relays are buzzing and the DRL’s don’t work, you likely have your polarity reversed at the plug into the anti-flicker capacitor link.
  11. OK it's fixed. Just had to reverse the polarity on the Capacitor link output. Now the DRLs operate and all is good, Thanks!
  12. HIDs won't function with Auto light controls enabled (DRLs During the day) I just installed Morimoto XB35 complete Elite HID headlight kit in my 2014 Silverado that came with the stock Halogen projector lamps. The kit comes with: 2-XB35 ballasts 2- H11B HID Bulbs 5500K 2-Morimoto igniters 1- HD relay H11 harness 1- anti-flicker capacitor link Pretty straight forward simple install. I am powerering the harness directly at the battery. I am triggering the headlights at the passenger side stock headlight harness plug. I also installed the Capacitor (anti-flicker) on the Passenger side. I finished last night in the dark and seeming everything worked and functioned fine, until........ This morning in the daylight when I started my truck and put the gear selector in Drive I noticed a VERY loud buzzing sound coming from the RELAYS. (the DRLs were trying to activate) the stock Halogen low beam bulb is ALSO the DRL. So I am not sure why the HID bulbs don't function as DRLs? I get the very annoying buzz from the relays and the lights won't ignite in DRL mode. If I manually switch on the lights they fire up fine, but as soon as switch the "Automatic Light Control ON" at the headlight switch the DRL function doesn't work and the Relays BUZZ! Anyone Know of a FIX for this issue? I really like the daytime running lights but it seems as though HID bulbs can't function as DRLs?
  13. Yes I tried both keys and the battery...nothing
  14. I wonder if there is a bcm just for the memory controls? Or if there memory function is controlled by the main body control module?
  15. I tried disconnecting the battery for up to 30 minutes. It didn't work
