Mine is doing the same as well. It repeatedly hits the pause button or goes into the category section when on the radio screen. Or when on the home screen it will go into the weather app. It seems to push a certain section of the screen. Recalibrating the screen did nothing. I really hope they recall this issue.

Out of warranty unfortunately. This sounds like more of a recall than anything though so hopefully we can get something sorted out with GM.

My 2015 Sierra just did the same thing today. I had it running with the remote start and the rear defrost on. My rear passenger shattered when I closed the door though. I'm wondering if the excessive heat weakened the window and the pressure from closing the door shattered it? Had to call GMC directly.. my dealership wouldn't touch it.
