  1. My apologies if I've offended anyone by asking a question within a forum which is meant to promote the opportunity for knowledge transfer.
  2. Howdy. I have a 2018 Silverado Z71 CC w/5.3. I just had new BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2s installed in the stock tire size and a Rough Country level lift installed. Now it seems my speedometer is off a little bit. If I have the cruise set at 55, my GPS tells me I'm traveling at 53.5 or 54. Seems like I'm getting passed more often on the interstate. My question is, if the stock tire size has been maintained, why would my speedometer be any different. No other modifications have been made. Opinions are appreciated. Thanks!
  3. Two things... First, I was able to locate a 16' flat bed car hauler last night I can use. That should make the trip much easier with much less wind resistance and a bit lighter load. Very happy about that. Second, how do I set the trans temp on the info screen? I thought I'd been through that whole menu and I don't recall seeing transmission temp as an option anywhere.
  4. Not sure on the sway bar. I certainly don't have an issue slowing down a bit on the drive out there. I have no issue traveling the interstate at 60 MPH. I was just concerned it would be too much of a workout for the motor over that distance.
  5. Yes, the trailer has brakes and I have a brake controller.
  6. Hi everyone. New to the forum and have a question for the experts! I have a 2018 Silverado LT w/2LT, Z71, 5.3L and want to use a car hauler to pull my wifes 1971 Pontiac Lamans Sport Convertible from Wisconsin to the Black Hills in South Dakota for a car show. The trailer I would use is a 24' enclosed car hauler. Do you think the truck can handle that large of a trailer at 65/70 MPH across 1400 miles? My truck is brand new - just purchased it in June and it only has 2800 miles on it. I installed a Range device so that blasted AFM is off. I'd rather pull a flatbed car hauler because of less weight and wind resistance but if I do it, I have to use what's available. Your thoughts are appreciated.
