I’ve got a 2019 Denali and almost every time I very lightly press on my brake pedal, I get a vibration or tapping feeling in the pedal. Sometimes it’s bad enough to where I can actually hear it. It only happens when it’s pressed in about a half inch and held there for any period of time. If I let off the brake, or press further, it goes away. I have no loss of stopping power and it doesn’t seem to affect anything.
I’ve had a whole bunch of random issues on top of the recalls to include needing the master cylinder replaced. After they replaced the master cylinder, the occurrence seemed much more frequent.
The deal says it is normal for the electronic brakes and that it is actually a safety feature. They are claiming that the brake system is making sure something like a floor mat isn’t laying on the brake pedal.
I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find anything anywhere about this happening, which leaves me to believe it is an issue with my truck.
if anyone has any knowledge of this, please share some info so I can either put it to rest, or push the dealership to look into it further!
