09avalanche

Thanks Cam, the same thought occured to me after I posted this, so I'll dig a little deeper once I get home.Cheers.

Started up the 09 Avalanche the other day only to hear a new rattle while standing next to her putting stuff into the passenger side interior. Can't be heard from inside the cab at least not with my ears, I've pinpointed the noise to the, I think it's called the post cat converter or the third cc, please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways it sounds as though the substrate is breaking down or coming apart. My question is "can I delete this if indeed it is a cat, since there is no o2 sensor here" and if I can is there a chance of trouble codes haunting the old girl, I really do not want any problems of any sort in this area. If anyone has any knowledge with this area could you chime in please, it'll be much appreciated.thanks in advance.

Just wondered if anyone knows much about the wire routing from the radio and the best way to access the radio to get at the speaker wires, since my rear door speakers are inoperable. I have a sneaking suspicion that when the dealer did recall work for passenger side IP air bag replacement " Takata screwup " they may have done something while in the top of my dash, seems quite possible doesn't it?

So today I realized my rear speakers which are in the doors of course are not working 09 Avalanche LT. Pretty sure they were fine just the other day cause I turned it up for a good tune but not sure, still sounds good but just HATE when stuff doesn't work as it's designed. It's only my wife and I driving this truck so pretty sure she wouldn't have done any harm. What could the problem be? any help would be greatly appreciated.Cheers.

Took my 16 xl to the dealership for computer reflash for this issue it takes about as long as takes for you to drink your complimentary coffee and window shop for a bit on their dime.
