  1. I don't really know any one at GM, But I did call customer service here in Warren Michigan which is where all the US engineers are located, and asked they very very nicely to please do anything that can to help me. I highly doubt they did anything special for me but who knows it is worth a try for any one still waiting on their parts. Also I am located here in Michigan so I don't know if that has anything to do with it but maybe that helped as well. I wish you all the best of luck, and hope you are reunited with your trucks very soon.
  2. Hey guys and girls. I after getting my truck back from the dealership once they replaced the master cylinder and still had issues with the brake controller. GM advised the dealer to re bleed the system. I have had the truck back for a week now and everything is going well. I am even seeing slightly better fuel mileage which could be due to the cooler temp in my area or maybe I am just afraid to lean into the gas pedal like before, who knows. I wish you all the best!
  3. To give everyone an update. The dealer replaced the master cylinder and brake controller on my truck and returned it to me Tuesday the 25th which as a result means they had my truck for two weeks while it was waiting on parts. After driving the truck about 10 miles with the truck Tuesday it lost brake assist and is now back at the dealership with no ETA. This isn't looking very good from my perspective. Has anyone else out there had there master cylinder replaced and is still experiencing the same issue?
  4. I have a 2019 Silverado Crew Cab z71 4x4 5.3. My truck has 13k miles on it and everything has been great since day one. Although last Sunday I ran to the gas station and everything was pretty typical until I fired the truck up to go home. I shifted into gear and went to pull back out on to the main road and I had about 5% braking power and could not stop the truck from going into the road nearly missing another car. I rounded the corner and made it back into the parking lot where I was able to stop the truck. I had a blinking check engine light and solid abs light. After calling OnStar they told me the truck had two codes currently running. C05D2 for the braking system and P25A2 which was an engine transmission code. I had the truck towed to the dealer, the dealer said the are replacing the brake controller but unfortunately it is out of stock and they don't know when they will have the part. The service department is estimating a month or so before they expect the parts and they gave me a courtesy vehicle to drive. Needless to say I understand that manufacturing of anything can have issues, but not to have access to a parts went you know they are building dozens of these trucks everyday is kinda BS. My dealer is great and they are trying to do everything they can but I am frustrated. I didn't spend damn near 50k to drive a courtesy vehicle.
