I only say 0 mi engines because it's nothing for me to put 40k a year on a motor, I run equipment on the pipeline, so I usually have 50-75 gal of diesel in a transfer tank that I tote around daily..just figured that's alot of miles and stress on a motor that I dont know was treated right or not, I think it would make me feel better on a 12+hr drive to home/work.   3. So gm crate motors aren't that great? What about a long block from sdp or pace? I've been looking for low mileage gen 4s but haven't really had any luck, I mean I've seen 80-100k+ for 3-4k...it wouldn't be better to spend 4-5 for a longblock from Pace, Scoggin, ect?   4. Well, what would you guys do...I want a zero mile engine, preferably 6.2 but I'm not too picky, this is my everyday work truck, 100+ mi a day most days, occasional towing. Would like 400+ ish to the wheels, just like hearing everyone's opinions.. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Yea I figured, my original plan is to go with a long block non dod 6.2, but I keep running across these gen v motor/tranny deals for like 3-4k, hard not to wonder at that price..oh well..just have to figure out what Is I want to go with, 6.2/6.0 do alot of driving for work (40k last year) need to be able to tow a 26-30ft camper on occasion, and of course move when I tell her to..lol.. I have a '13 sierra sle 5.3...2xx,xxx mi...great truck, have been looking at replacing the engine with a gen 4 6.2, no big deal...but..I came across a l86 with less than 20k with the 8l90 4x4 tranny, complete harness, ecu,tcu, everything for $3500....can this work with all the gen v electronics, would my gauges and all still work? I've searched everywhere and cant find any info on anyone swapping a gen v into a gmt900. Any info is appreciated! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
