Greetings, I've just picked up a '94, GMC Sierra Z71 1500. Previous owner thought the engine had seized and left it sitting for 5 yrs until I took it out of his driveway two weeks ago. A lot of surface rust underneath, but a hammer can't dent the frame. New battery, just touched the key, belt turns...not seized. Changed filter & oil. Put a hose down the gas tank hand pumped out about 4 gallons. I was surprised that it stopped there. Gas gauge reads 3/4 full. Added 2-3 gallons of 92 octane and tried to start it.... no go. Took off the air filter, dropped a capful of gas in there, tried it...... nothing. What's my next move? Should I change the plugs/wires/cap? Fuel pump? I watched the gas gauge when I turned the key and after I removed the gas......never saw it move. My wife says to me, "When are you getting that junk out of the driveway?" LOL Anyway, thanks for any help! Jim
