Absolutely reccomend the 3.0 in about 12 month's when parts are regularly available. I got mine on December 21 2019. It's an AT4 and there is so much I love about the truck. However, I am having a chronic issue with ABS - Braking and Stability System C0504 which then disables traction control and cruise control. I have had it serviced 3 times and they can't seem to sort it out. The issue occours up to 3x a day and lasts for hours. On my way to Dealership for an oil change this morning ~9900 miles on the truck it went into limp mode. ECM - Engine System P06DD The powertrain system has detected a malfunction related to the oil pressure sensing system. An oil pressure warning light or message may illuminate. Fuel economy may be affected.and ECM - Engine System P25A2 The Engine and Transmission System is not performing as expected. An issue has been detected in the Engine Electrical System, including the Charging and Starting System that monitors and controls the engine starting system and 12V battery charging system. If the charge system light stays on, or comes on while driving, there may be a problem with the electrical charging system. Driving while this light is on could drain the battery. If a short distance must be driven with the light on, be sure to turn off all accessories, such as the radio and air conditioner. I will update as things progress. Not happy at all right now. This has put a serious jam into my work and life today. Before all this I am getting around 18mpg. My truck has a 6" lift and is on 35x12 tires. I have begun to haul with it but not excessive. If hauling heavier I get around 11mpg and lighter 13mpg and I am happy with it. I Installed an airlift kit to eliminate squat and it also improved steering while hauling. UPDATE: the oil pressure regulator is bad. There are no parts currently available. Detroit was contacted and they are on back order. Good news on ABS they found debris in the speed regulator driver side front. So that will be fixed. Truck will be at dealership until a new oil pressure regulator is sourced and installed.
