Looking to get a ~2" front/rear lift on my 2014 Silverado 1500 4x4 double cab. Eventually want to fit some 33" tires with my stock 18" wheels. (Similar stance to the newer Trail Bosses)
I'd still like to maintain a bit of rake (front sitting lower than rear) for trailering/payload.
My plan is to get Bilstein 5100's front & rear. I'll set the front on the highest setting which should get me ~1.75" up front. I'd like to lift the rear, but can't decide on which blocks would maintain factory rake.
I was thinking 2" rear blocks is probably my best bet, but I really want to avoid the rake offset being much further off from factory. Maybe I'm better off with 1.5-1.75" rear blocks?
I could have these measurements wrong. Couldn't determine if 5100's lift the rear at all.
Thoughts?
