I know dash rattles can be par for the course for pick-up and I know the topic has been touch on several times but does anyone know of a rattle that's in the area of the passenger airbag? Driving a 2016 Silverado. When I drive the truck it sounds like it's in the middle of the front part of the dash but after I removed the front dash trim and had my wife ride with me the rattle is actually on the passenger side of the dash. I can't see or feel anything from up top. If I remove the upper and lower glove box I can get in pretty deep behind the dash I don't know where to go or how far I can go, with the air bag in mind that is. It doesn't take much for whatever it is to rattle and if definitely sounds metallic like a thin piece of metal that's unsecured. I mean I can drive on a smooth road and whatever it is will just rattle away consistently.
