  1. Hey everyone, have a 2020 GMC 2500HD that I bought last November and noticed that the interior tailgate trim (The plastic piece that covers the inside lower half of the tailgate) was slightly bowed in the middle and when depressed to seat against the tailgate, like when you stepped on it to get into the bed, it would pop loudly when stepping off of it, popping back into place (bowed). I thought maybe the 10 or so screws were not allowing it to seat correctly, so I removed them to see that this wasn't the case. Simply, the plastic lip around the trim was not fitting around the edge of the sheet metal, hence the popping on and off. I just took the truck in for its first oil change at Laura GMC in Collinsville, IL and decided to have it addressed while it was in for service. The tech just called to tell me that "All of them are doing this and it is what it is"...I find that very hard to believe. Is there anyone else that has seen this from their tailgate? I know not all fit and finish will be perfect, but this is a rather loud annoying noise that I think should be fixed...Curious to see everyone's thoughts. Thanks in advance.
  2. I have the same issue, noticed it leaving subdivision, then stopped. 1,500 miles on it. There is a noticeable cluck/click/whatever you want to call it when you go to full lock on steering travel too. Only does it once in either direction though, then nothing. Weird for sure.
