    Update: replaced idler pulley and belt. Whining is gone. Only code shown was for Brakes:Low Battery. Chugging going uphill still happening. Worried about additional damage to tranny if not corrected!!

    At 82,000 miles and following oil change/tire rotation, noticed whining under hood. Also, sluggish performance under load. Had intermittent check engine light in the past - not read yet. Help! 2021 5.3 8 speed whining and sluggish under power Add Tag

    My 2015 4x4 Silverado displays a Trailer Brake Malfunction message intermittently. It also intermittently loses sound from the radio. Also, the turn signals function but do not give the audible "click". What might be causing this?
