In my case I don't believe this the alignment. This is a vibration that is coming up through the steering column at speeds as little as one or two miles per hour in Reverse or forward especially on a gravel driveway like mine. The feeling you get is that all of your lug nuts are loose. The dealer told me that this is normal with a 2500 or 3500 series truck. I don't believe this to be true at all. I have owned a new 98 Chevy Dually which had great steering, and I owned a new 2000 F-250 which also had great steering with no vibration. Both of these trucks also had the recirculating type steering like the newer 2500 and 3500. I think GM has a problem that they do not want to take responsibility of and are telling the dealerships to tell customers that this is normal. I hope to get to the bottom of it soon as I only have 1700 miles on my truck and don't even enjoy driving it anymore.
