  1. I have a 2009 Silverado and I cannot adjust either mirror. There is no response on either side when I use the switch. I have checked the fuse and there is voltage coming and going. I have replaced the switch in the drivers door and it still has the same problem. I do not have access to any wiring diagrams, but all the wiring looks ok and intact from what I can see. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has an idea on something else I can check. I talked to a local Chevy dealer and they said it could be the Body Control Module which has to be replaced and programmed by them. Any help would be appreciated. ***** Just wanted to update... I found the problem with the mirrors on my truck. It was a broken 12v supply wire in the wiring bundle between the cab and the door, in the rubber grommet the wires go through. The wire was dead center of the bundle but it was broke as clean as if it had been cut with no sign of burning or corrosion. I am thinking that this must have been a factory defect in the actual wiring manufacturing process, and over time the opening and closing of the door caused it to break. Once I spliced the wire all was ok. As far as what the dealer said about the BCM...this circuit does not go through the BCM. It is a simple circuit going only to the mirrors with one lead tied to the light. I finally found a schematic for the circuit which I am attaching to this message, as well as a picture of what I found. BTW...this is manual folding mirrors with power adjustment. Hope this helps someone in the future. 09 Silverado Mirror Circuit Schematic.pdf
