  1. I had the same issues, first the dealer "fixed" the wiring, then replaced the AMP and said I had a rear window water leak, then replaced the head unit after doing "diagnostics" for over a week driving my truck for hundreds of miles for some reason in the process. None of these fixes actually fixed anything. I found my issue at an audio component just above the passenger side kick panel. While the head unit was playing audio I reached up and wiggled the connectors untill I started to have the audio cut in and out. Pulled that connector and tweaked the pins with a small pick and reinstalled. Boom... No more audio issues.
  2. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on parts. Got a call from the dealer last week they need to pull the head unit again to provide GM with some numbers from the back of the unit? I feel like I'm getting the runaround.
  3. Just an update, new amp did not fix the issue. GM just approved a new headunit so fingers crossed this actually fixes the issue.
  4. Had a rear window leak in my 2021 Elevation 3.0 so they went ahead and replaced the amplifier thinking it may be causing the audio to drop out. Unfortunately that didn't fix the issue. Had the truck back in service yesterday for the same issue and GM just approved a new headunit. It should be ordered Monday but with every part on this truck seemingly on backorder it may take a while to actually get the part and get it installed. I'll post an update when I can.
  5. After over a year my truck is finally getting a new amplifier. Fingers crossed this fixes the issue of the sound cutting cutting out.
  6. Have a 2021 Sierra 1500 Elevation with premium audio that also has the audio cutout issue. It's sporadic and will affect all inputs. Can operate the head unit, change inputs, just no audio what so ever. Even door chimes stop working. It's been in the shop three times (the last for over 7 days) with no resolution. Does anyone have a TSB number or recall notice for this issue I can show my service department?
  7. I have the same issue but with Android Auto. I end up needing to pause or stop whatever source is playing on the phone before it will play anything else for longer than a few seconds. Just switching to radio or USB/MP3 results in playing for a few seconds then jumping right back to Android Auto.
  8. My 2021 3.0 Sierra with the 8" premium infotainment system has issues with the audio cutting out at random. It doesn't matter what the source is (Alexa, FM, AM, USB) including taking a call via Android Auto if the audio is cutting out it will disappear from all sources. Went in for my first oil change and they flashed my Infotainment system to V158.3.2 hoping to fix the issue. I would say it's less frequent but still happens quite often. Does anyone else have this issue that was actually resolved? Also, does anyone have a version newer than V158.3.2 or is this the current release?
  9. I checked and my OnStar button is green. Took a three hour drive yesterday and the problem slowly got worse untill about the halfway mark where the sound stopped working all together. The light remained green the whole time. I spent the rest of my drive listening to music and nav directions on my $50 Walmart phone..... In my almost $60k 2021 truck. Banannas, maybe I should have stuck with my Tundra.
  10. I'm having the same issue in my 2021 Sierra but the audio will dip out at random. It doesn't matter what the source is (Alexa, FM, AM, USB) including taking a call via Android Auto if the audio is dipping out it will disappear from all sources.
