  1. Good Grief GM. Lets put your truck in limp mode when ever you do your own brakes. What's next resetting codes after an oil change?
  2. If you go with just a 2 inch level skip the kit and upgrade your front shocks instead; Bilstein 6112. The stock shocks are terrible. You can upgrade your shocks and get the level. The bouncy feeling will be gone.
  3. They replaced the master cylinder and brake module. Worked great for the 1st day. The next morning I had a Service Brake Assist message on the screen. Back to the dealership.
  4. I have a 2020 1500 RST, 2 inch level, and 285/60/18. There is a slight rub only in reverse at full lock. I'm not sure how different it will be on the 2500hd or if you will need to offset for those size tires.
  5. Got an update today. They are replacing the brake module. The part is coming out of California to Arizona so I should get the truck back early next week.
  6. Question of they day: "Have you ever worked in the car industry?" ... I went to pickup the the truck after a reprogram of the brake control module and a 5 mile verification drive and that was the question asked when they pulled the truck up for me. Perplexed I said no and he said, "Are these the same esc warnings you were getting when you dropped it off?" Yes sir same exact messages. So needless to say I got a lyft to work and they took the truck back to run the codes again and take another look.
  7. I've got a 2020 Silverado RST 5.3. About a week ago I got a a Service ESC - Brake System message on my dash along with one of two limp modes, either speed limited to 62 miles per hour or 43 mph. The issue is intermittent but when it does happen the abs system shuts down and the brakes feel like they are full manual brakes. I have an appointment scheduled for the dealer on Tuesday but I was able to run the codes via my main mechanic. It shows a U2413 code which is a Serial Data Gateway Module failure. It throws a bunch of other codes related to not being able to communicate to other modules. Hoping its just an ESC flash similar to the 2019 recall but who knows. Considering pulling the S&B cold air intake to avoid any warranty issues. Thoughts on this?
